Rotate and flip images online for free

Choose one or more images, rotate or flip each independently with a click, then download the whole batch at once.

How to use it

  1. 1

Choose your images — up to 30 at once.

  2. 2

Use the rotate and flip buttons on each image until it faces the right way.

  3. 3

Repeat per image if the batch needs different orientations.

  4. 4

    Press Download all.

Why images sometimes come out sideways

A phone camera records the image in whatever orientation the phone was held, then stores the rotation as EXIF metadata rather than rotating the pixels themselves. Some software ignores that metadata, and the image shows up on its side.

Rotate or flip?

Rotating turns the whole image (90, 180 or 270 degrees). Flipping mirrors it horizontally or vertically — useful for correcting a front-camera shot that comes out mirror-reversed.

FAQ

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Rotating and flipping happen inside your browser, and images are never sent anywhere.
Does the image lose quality when rotated?
Rotating by 90-degree steps discards no pixels and resamples nothing, so quality stays exactly as it was.
Can I rotate different images in the same batch differently?
Yes, each image in the batch has its own rotate and flip controls, independent of the rest.
What's the difference between a horizontal and vertical flip?
Horizontal mirrors left and right, as if looking in a mirror. Vertical mirrors top and bottom.
